Updates and Improvements

We bought the villa in 2010 and each year we have invested a huge amount back into the villa undertaking some major projects. We overhauled and expanded the lower casita, which included an expansion, gorgeous high ceilings, a newly renovated artisan tile kitchen, fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, gas oven and stove, all small appliances and separate hot water heater.   We added on two balconies, both with ocean view. The lower casita now features: 3 bedrooms (inclusive of the fun children’s room), 3 bathrooms, living/dining area with balcony, private balcony off of the master bedroom, private entrance, office desk, computer and printer, air conditioning through out, private wifi and 2 televisions and phone. The lower casita can be added on to the upper villa or rented separately.

In addition to all of the items listed above, we are meticulous about smaller details, painting yearly to keep things looking fresh, refinishing our iron work, we have added wood accents throughout to what used to be bare concrete, put in sun blocking blinds that allow our guests to see the beautiful views while still being shaded by the hot sun. We have supported local Mexican artists: painters Hector Armendariz Martinez, Raquel Avalos and others by decorating with their artwork, bedspreads, and embroidery work from Veronica and Oscar Juarez. We have collaborated and worked directly with local carpenters, iron workers masons and builders in both design and the finished project.   All of them true masters in their art forms. We have also done a overhaul of the back of house items that go along with the smooth running of any villa. New bar fridge, new dining tables, new furniture, new laundry machines, new gas tanks, a new hydraulic pump for our water pressure, new pool heater, new water heaters, a transformer for energy, new energy saving pool pumps, new air conditioners, new toilets, refinishing beautiful Mexican tile floors, installing a new floor around the pool area. These are but a few of the things we have done in the back of house. We do scheduled water checks from our three water tanks to ensure that the water is always safe for human consumption and for swimming. The water is analyzed at Microquim.

This gives you an idea about my on going commitment to our guests and wanting them to be taken care of in all ways from the small comforts to the amazing service they receive from our sincere and genuine long time staff.
